The Professional Attire Initiative is a community effort that collects new and gently used professional clothing and makes it accessible to students, job seekers, veterans, and others preparing for interviews, education, careers, and important life opportunities. Through donation stations, community closets, clothing racks, pop-up events, and local partners, we are building a lasting network of confidence, dignity, and support across Central Massachusetts.

We need your help to take our Professional Attire Initiative even further! We're actively seeking businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to get involved, give back, and help us make a lasting difference across Central Massachusetts.
Leading up to our December 3 Winter Soirée and during you can bring attire to the r event , we'll be collecting professional attire to help individuals look and feel their best during life's important moments. Whether through clothing donations, sponsorships, attending our events, or community collaborations, there are so many ways to make an impact, and we're always open to new ideas!
Your continued support makes all of this possible. Thanks to our attendees, sponsors, supporters, and community partners, we've been able to keep this initiative growing since 2022. As we look ahead, our goal is to establish more community clothing closets, collect and distribute even more professional attire, and reach more individuals who need it.

The Story
Our Professional Attire Initiative began in 2022 with a simple goal: collect professional clothing and put it directly into the hands of individuals who need it most.
What started with a focus on collecting men's suits has grown into an initiative welcoming professional attire for everyone, helping more individuals look their best, feel confident, and prepare for life's important opportunities.
Since 2022, we've:
Organized three professional attire drives across our community.
Collected and donated more than 700 pieces of professional attire, beginning with men's suits and expanding to clothing, shoes, and accessories for all.
Helped support students, job seekers, veterans, and community members preparing for new opportunities.
Distributed clothing through shelters, churches, rehabilitation programs, community organizations, and direct referrals.
Collaborated with local businesses and community members who have generously contributed clothing, time, space, services, and resources.
And we're just getting started!
What began as a simple clothing drive is growing into a connected community effort focused on confidence, opportunity, and long-term access to professional attire.
Our next chapter is about reaching even more people, expanding our collection efforts, and establishing accessible clothing closets throughout Central Massachusetts.
Because looking the part shouldn't be a barrier to taking the next step in life.
